"We Don't Need No Stinkin' Khakis..."
Sunday, September 28, 2008 Imagine my surprise as I stumbled across this sign near a spectators’ area at my son’s cross-country invitational meet outside Montpelier, Vermont this weekend:
I’ve always considered New England to be an exceptionally tolerant place, so this is probably cause for concern. After all, as annoying as “those people” can be, I don’t think we need to return to America’s shameful segregationist past. Must we keep them out of our country clubs and boarding schools? Require them to ride in the back of the 5:31 to Greenwich? Deny them employment as hedge fund managers?
Anyway, I poked around a little more and, for the life of me, couldn’t find any “Keep Out Italian-Americans!!!!” signs, so, eh…no skin off my back, right?

I hope you're working on the template for your site. Black and white just doesn't suit us. Of course, you could look at it as black and white and red all over... ;)
Anyway, finally had an opportunity to listen to your voice from that Steve Rizzo post. You don't sound like I imagined and I knew you wouldn't. You do, however, sound like a Fusco.
You inspire me. Have I ever told you that?
Thanks, Joe. I've sent you a note by email.
That's funny right there.
(Clicked over from my friend, The Other Joe Fusco's, site.)
I don't know - I kind of like the black and white scheme.
And yes, you sound quite a bit like a Fusco. Not sure what exactly that may entail, but it's certainly suiting.
